A proposed pedagogical model and curricular approach for Higher Education Institutions
This book was born as a product of the construction of a pedagogical and curricular model designed for a higher education institution in Colombia, during the years 2020 to 2022. The authors formed a truly multidisciplinary team with the objective of creating a pedagogical model in which everyone, from their different fields of knowledge, felt represented. At the same time, they worked tirelessly to meet the requirements not only from the University but also respond to all the demands that are required both nationally and internationally in terms of education.
Today, it is unthinkable to conceive of a model that is outside the processes of “glocalization” that society has been experiencing in recent decades. For this reason, this book is intended as a guide to facilitate the path toward the development of the model that higher education institutions need in order to align themselves with competency-based training processes and learning outcomes.
